A women's boutique with locations across the Philadelphia suburbs is opening a new store next week at Gateway Shopping Center in Wayne.
Stile by Per Lei plans to open Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 125 Swedesford Road, taking a 1,360-square-foot space in the shopping center anchored by Trader Joe's, TJ Maxx and Staples. The store will carry everyday wardrobe staples and trend-focused pieces priced under $150, with most items at $60 and below, according to Patch.
Founder Candice Caprice said the Wayne location was driven by existing demand from area shoppers.
"Wayne has always felt like a natural fit for us," Caprice said in a statement published Aug. 19. "So many of our customers who shop our Newtown Square and Suburban Square locations are already part of this community."
The boutique emphasizes personalized styling, helping customers assemble complete outfits rather than shop piece by piece. The Aug. 26 opening will coincide with the arrival of Stile's fall collections.
Wayne will be the brand's second Main Line location.
Stile by Per Lei, formerly known as élan, first opened in 2018 at Glen Eagle Square in Glen Mills. The brand also operates at Suburban Square in Ardmore, at 51 St. James Place, and has a location in Greenville, Delaware, according to the brand's social media. Per Lei Boutique, a higher-end sister store, operates in Media.
Gateway Shopping Center, managed by Regency Centers, spans 223,519 square feet and draws roughly 3.96 million visits per year. Other tenants include Sephora, Chipotle, Starbucks and Sang Kee Asian Bistro. The center currently has five additional spaces available, including a 12,000-square-foot vacancy and a 2,800-square-foot restaurant space.
No ribbon-cutting or grand opening event has been announced for the Aug. 26 opening.
