The Main Line Art Center's 2026 Accessible Art Exhibition is on view through Friday, August 21, at the nonprofit's gallery at 746 Panmure Road in Haverford. Admission is free.

The show is part of a summer lineup that also includes adult classes and workshops running through Monday, August 3. The center's accessible art programs for artists with disabilities have been a cornerstone of its programming for more than 50 years.

Main Line Today's Anne E. Hill and Ben Silver included the center in a summer guide to area art museums published Wednesday, naming it one of eight regional institutions worth a visit. The guide highlighted the center's rotating contemporary exhibitions alongside the Brandywine Museum of Art in Chadds Ford, the Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College in Collegeville and the Frances M. Maguire Art Museum at St. Joseph's University in Merion.

The Haverford center traces its roots to 1937, when a group of artists founded The Bryn Mawr Art Center on Polo Road. The current building dates to 1868. The organization adopted its current name in 1993 and grants more than $25,000 in need-based scholarships each year, along with tuition-free classes for all ages.

  • Sunday, October 11 — Frightfully Fun Fundraiser, 3–6 p.m. Halloween-themed art activities and a Monster Mash dance party supporting accessible art programs and scholarships.
  • Sunday, November 8 — Artisan Holiday Market, 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Free to shop. More than 30 artists offering handcrafted gifts, plus a Young Makers Market featuring five artists ages 18 and under.
  • Saturday, November 14 — 23rd Annual Betsy Meyer Memorial Exhibition opening reception, 6–8 p.m. $10 suggested donation.
  • Thursday, November 19 — 4th Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser, 6–8 p.m. $35, includes handmade bowl, meal, and beverages. Proceeds split between local food banks and the center's scholarship program.
