A Southern Italian restaurant called Martini & Roz is set to open in fall 2026 at 523 W. Lancaster Ave. in Wayne, filling the vacant former Bertucci's building with more than 300 seats and about 75 new jobs.

Fearless Restaurants, the Philadelphia-area hospitality group led by General Partner Marty Grims and his daughter Sydney Grims, scrapped earlier plans for a second Testa Rossa location at the site. The original Testa Rossa in Glen Mills permanently closed in August after less than two years in business, Philly Grub reported. Fearless now intends to open the new concept at the Wayne address instead, according to Patch.

The restaurant is named for Marty Grims' parents, Martin and Roslyn, according to a Philadelphia Inquirer roundup of fall 2026 openings published Sept. 9.

Martini & Roz Italiano will serve lunch, brunch and dinner in a 7,500-square-foot space, according to Delco Today. The main dining room seats 180, with additional room for 20 at the bar, 20 at a tasting counter, 20 in a private dining room and 70 outdoors.

The menu will feature crudo, oysters, steaks and chops, wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas and charcuterie, according to Main Line Today. Two open kitchens with wood-burning ovens, a glass-enclosed cheese cave and a live tasting counter round out the design. Philadelphia firm Rohe Creative is handling the interior.

Regional Executive Chef Merick Devine will lead the kitchen. Sydney Grims, the company's partner and director of business development, said in a May statement announcing the concept that the pivot reflects guest demand for dining that goes beyond food and atmosphere.

Fearless Restaurants already operates two other restaurants on the Lancaster Avenue corridor: Rosalie at the Wayne Hotel and Triple Crown at the Radnor Hotel, which opened in July 2025. The group's broader portfolio includes White Dog Cafe, Autograph Brasserie, Louie Louie and the Moshulu.

An exact opening date has not been announced. The Fearless Restaurants website lists Martini & Roz as "coming soon" with a fall 2026 timeline.
