Radnor Township residents can drop off old electronics for free on Saturday, Sept. 12, but only if they register in advance through Eventbrite.

The township's recurring "Anything with a Plug" recycling event runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Radnor Financial Center parking lot, 150 North Radnor Chester Road in Saint Davids. Philadelphia-based eForce Recycling will handle collection and processing at the drive-through event.

Accepted items include laptops, computers, printers, cellphones, microwaves, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, cameras, fax machines, keyboards, typewriters, small appliances and telephones, according to eForce Recycling. If it has a plug, it qualifies.

How to sign up

Registration is free but required. The Eventbrite listing has been open since July 21. The link is also posted on Radnor Township's website, which published the announcement on Aug. 14.

The township's notice states that all residents "must pre-register" before the event. No details on capacity limits were included in the announcement.

A recurring collection

Radnor has held similar e-waste collection days before. A Patch article documented an October 2025 edition of the same program at the same Radnor Financial Center location, suggesting the township runs the event multiple times a year.

The township's Environmental Advisory Council, established in 1997 and restructured by the Board of Commissioners in 2008, coordinates environmental programming including recycling education for the community.

eForce Recycling, the event partner, is a certified e-waste processor based at 1229 South Napa St. in Philadelphia. The company handles data destruction and responsible disposal of electronics that would otherwise end up in landfills.

Registration is open now at Eventbrite; the event runs 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 12 at 150 North Radnor Chester Road, Saint Davids.
