Villanova's field hockey team will play all seven of its 2026 home games in Collegeville, not Radnor Township, while the program's permanent home at the university's new Cabrini Campus remains under construction.

The university announced its full schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 11. The 112-acre Cabrini Campus officially opened to students Monday, Aug. 10. Head coach Joanie Milhous, a Wynnewood native entering her 32nd season, will lead the Wildcats at Ursinus College's Snell Field from Sept. 6 to Oct. 30.

The arrangement is temporary. Villanova Athletics said in June that construction planning for the permanent field is in its final stage, with more details to come as the fall season draws closer. The complex will occupy the site of the former Edith Robb Dixon Field on the Cabrini Campus. No opening date has been announced.

When the field is finished, Radnor residents will have a Division I program in their backyard. The Cabrini Campus sits about two miles from Villanova's main campus, and the university is investing roughly $75 million in renovations across the property.

Milhous coached at the former Cabrini College from 1991 to 1995 before joining Villanova. She won the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 1994 at that same institution whose grounds now belong to her current employer.

Villanova University President Rev. Peter M. Donohue called the Cabrini Campus opening a significant milestone, saying the campus will honor Cabrini's legacy while expanding Villanova's mission for decades to come.
